To assist guest with making marina related activities. Keeping Marina Cottage and grounds clean.

  • Pump motor fuel for boat customers.

  • Collect and process cash/charges.

  • Clean Marina house, i.e. bathroom/shower facilities.

  • Clean and upkeep grounds around Marina and empty out garbage cans.

  • Assist slip renters with launching and re-trailering of their boats.

  • Assist slip renters with cleaning and/or light maintenance of their boats.

  • Keep Marina patio furniture in clean and neat order.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Marina Manager and/or Marina Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • prior boating experience preferred, but not necessary

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Must be at least 18 years or older

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The position is based majority of the time outdoors; and is exposed to wet, hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
