Assisting with day to day operations of the Rental Operation while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

  • Oversee the rental operation during the Manager's absence.

  • Maintain the rental building/office area.

  • Oversee the proper cash credit card handling procedures.

  • Respond to guest requests, inquiries and complaints as needed.

  • Train employees on SMS and POS equipment/programs.

  • Oversee all booking of boat and non-motorized rentals.

  • Send confirmation emails to guests.

  • Call and confirm boat rentals 72 hours out.

  • Monitor on-line Boater Certification Test.

Qualifications

  • Prior office and/or boating experience preferred, but not necessary

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. On occasion, climb or balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to wet, hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
