Sr. Sales Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales team to new heights. This new role will be a leader-doer, coaching the sales team in addition to prospecting potential clients and managing group accounts. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Job duties:

• Develop action plans and initiatives to build group business for self within assigned markets and identify team initiatives by analyzing current group business and devising new ways to expand markets.
• Qualify group business, develop accurate and timely proposals, negotiate and close business, prepare and execute contracts.
• Maintain up to date account information in sales database.
• Build positive relationships with clients to inspire repeat business.
• Develop group sales marketing opportunities with the sales team and Director of Sales to support and achievement of group sales goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant sales management experience at a resort or hotel
• Highschool diploma, and/or college degree or equivalent experience
• Prior sales experience in resort sales and food and beverage
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights as required
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel needed, Delphi and Springer Miller preferred
• Valid driver’s license
